Over the past two decades, Gary Perkin's life behind the lens (10 of these years as a photographer for Santa Cruz Bicycles) has taken him around the globe. The ebbs and flows of Gary's journey - from the literal highs of countless Alpine peaks to the less glamorous reality of the hours spent negotiating with airline check-in staff - have been masterfully captured by his friend and fellow photographer, Sam Needam in the form of a one-of-a-kind hand-drawn Santa Cruz Hightower.
Another of Gary's close friends Ali Mclean, from Fat Creations, painstakingly applied a top-secret clear coat, forever preserving Sam's doodling!
