Cycleworx Trusts Cyclo Plus - The Experts in Bike Parts

CycloPlus Dealer Tour

Episode 2

#WeVisit Cycleworx, Sedgefield

It's impossible to ignore Eugene Roux's positive energy. We had hardly said howzit before he excitedly ushered us through his shop to a larger than life Penny Farthing bicycle. Moments later, we were back outside on the road with him effortlessly riding around us in circles. The sparkle in his eyes said it all!

Cycleworx has been servicing local Sedgefield riders and the annual rush of tourists who descend on the coastal town during the festive season since opening it's doors 16 years ago, in 2002. A strong cup of coffee and cheeky treat (on this occasion homemade rusks!) is par for the course when popping in for a catch-up.

"You Don't Stop Riding When You Get Old - You Get Old When You Stop Riding"

Wise words to live by.
s
Eugene has been riding a bike since he was only 5 years old. What started as a means to get to school, cycling quickly developed into a passion that steered him towards the competitive side of the sport.
s
Numerous photos adorn the walls of past Springbok teams, while a few old racing bikes hang from the shop's ceiling. It wasn't only Eugene who was bitten by the bug. His son, Haegyn raced throughout his school career, also earning national track cycling colours.
s
Eugene says he choses CycloPlus because of its extensive offering and simple B2B ordering system. He can find a wide selection of parts, priced right and add them into one single shopping basket from his desk, reducing the hassle of dealing with various suppliers.

He goes on to say that Cycleworx's fastest movers are CycloPlus chains and bottom brackets.
s
Cycleworx surely has the most authentic cycling themed bathroom in all of South Africa - if not the world!

"I am incredibly fortunate that my work and passion are one and the same - I love what I do"
